A book enriches a person's inner world. She is important at all stages of her life, and is an assistant, adviser, and entertainment.

Books are eternal, but the Internet is not eternal. Someone can turn off the Internet and electricity. The country is paralyzed, movement and life stops. In the absence of electricity, the country's security programs are dead. There is no problem in capturing such a country, whoever has the switch in their hands.

Every day more and more people stop reading books. This is a tragedy. Not only people, but also the governments of some countries misunderstand the importance of books for a citizen of their state. Analyzing the current situation in the world, I come to the conclusion that it is necessary and beneficial for someone.

Currently, books are not as popular as they used to be. Modern people refuse to read, they consider it a waste of time, especially for today's teenagers and young people. Everyone is on social media. Unlike literature, the Internet and social networks will not be able to teach anything good, they just easily and quickly give out ready-made correct answers.

The book teaches a person about life: it teaches them to understand, observe, search and think. But most importantly, it teaches us not to repeat other people's mistakes in our own lives.

If Wordsworth says that "The Book is a good friend among whom we can live and be happy," then F.Bacon notes that "Books are ships of thought, traveling on the waves of time and carefully carrying their precious cargo from generation to generation."

People who don't read books often make a lot of spelling mistakes. A person who reads develops visual memory for words. Giving up reading is a path to difficulties with writing and speaking.

Books of interest: someone likes detective stories, someone fiction, someone fiction – prose, poetry, and someone journalism. In any case, a person gets richer. The more he reads, the more he gets enriched with new knowledge.

And the pursuit of knowledge and books helps to become an intelligent person. Reading helps to discover new facets, reveals previously unknown feelings and shades of perception of the world, which we could not even guess about.

For older people, reading books is useful for several reasons. Firstly, the ability to translate words into mental forms and images has a positive effect on cognitive functions. Secondly, reading helps to concentrate. Therefore, reading books can be considered a universal way to keep a lively mind even in old age.

It should be understood that reading books broadens horizons and gives free rein to the imagination. But this is just a small part of the impact that the book itself and its reading have on the life of a modern person. Therefore, it is important to preserve the book as the main value for future generations. Thanks to the libraries and the people working there!
